This heat is reaching absolutely ridiculous levels! I love living in Virginia but man have the overpowering temperatures drastically increased my desire to move up north sooner than planned. One can only assume that global warming, which isn’t going anywhere, will make this summer’s temps a trend but it sure isn’t a good one. Regardless of humidity or altitude, this warmth is seizing every inch of our mother Earth and damn if I wish that weren’t true.
I only wonder how long it will be before I am living in Massachusetts and I am writing that MA is the new VA and how soon I’ll need to move north yet again. 2 years? 10 year? Who knows? Or, if I’m lucky, I’ll just grow accustomed to it and learn to embrace it. If/when I do, that is that day that I move til Australia! Can’t wait…:)
