Today is my TWO month anniversary as a blogger (YAY!) and, not by coincidence, as a marathoner-in-training (even bigger HOORAY!). I began my blog on my June 21st, which was my 28th birthday and what my blog is named after (in addition to the coming-of-age ’80s classic 16 Candles), and
so far I have successfully continued the fun new challenge of daily blogging daily, actually following a bone-fide marathon training schedule and, continuing to knock on wood, have avoided lethargy, apathy and, most importantly, injury!
As I will do on the 21st of every month, I will take fresh and admittedly awkward ‘progress’ pics for my own personal marathon log, in addition to mostly accurate ‘health statistics.’ Enjoy?!?
